POLICY MANUAL

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

Each student must register for classes on the Aspire Real Estate Academy website. Receipts for money paid are given at the time of payment and duplicate copies are kept by the school for their records. Aspire Real Estate Academy will maintain transcripts for all students completing a course licensed by the Arkansas Real Estate Commission (AREC). 

PRE-LICENSING SALES

Each student registering for a Salesperson Pre-license class must be at least 18 years of age and complete the required 60 classroom hours of the Pre-licensing course to receive full credit and a certificate that can then be used as a verification that the student has completed the course as required and approved by the Arkansas Real Estate Commission (AREC). 

 PRE-LICENSING BROKER

Each student registering for the Broker Pre-license course must be qualified at the time of taking the course to receive a Broker’s License should the student complete the required 60 Hour Pre-license course and pass the exam.

-Been actively licensed as a Salesperson in Arkansas at least 2 years out of the last 4.

-Meet experience requirements.

-Fill out the required Broker License application of the Arkansas Real Estate Commission.

All requirements and application can be found on the Arkansas Real Estate Commission website at www.arec.arkansas.gov or the school can provide a copy to be filled out by the student and turned into the AREC with the appropriate fees. 

 POST-LICENSING SALES & BROKER:

Students registering to take either the Salesperson Post-license Course or the Broker Post-license Course must have passed the required exam and have received their license from the AREC before taking the appropriate course.

-Proof of licensing will be required at the time of application.

- Must be completed within 6 months of licensing. 

CONTINUING EDUCATION: 

Students registering for a Continuing Education Course must have either an active license at the time of registration or written confirmation from the AREC of the hours required to activate the license.

 

Aspire Real Estate Academy is approved to provide the required hours of Continuing Education by the AREC. 

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Each student attending a Pre-licensing, Post-licensing or Continuing Education Course with Aspire Real Estate Academy will be required to sign in and out twice daily and scan a QR Code at the end of the day for final attendance verification and certificate completion. Records of attendance will be kept with the student’s transcript.

 

Any student who is more than 10 minutes late for any class will have to make up one (1) hour. Any time missed will have to made up for the student to receive a certificate of completion for the course.

Aspire Real Estate Academy will file with the AREC for each class completed, but it is highly recommended that the student maintains a copy of their completion certificate in case of any errors in reporting by the school. The Arkansas Real Estate Commission maintains that the student is responsible for notifying the AREC of completion of any courses completed. 

DRESS CODE

Aspire Real Estate Academy is a professional business. We want all students to be comfortable yet not distracting to those around them. 

Students are encouraged to dress comfortably for class. Students may want to bring a sweater or light jacket in the event that the class is colder than expected.

ACCESSIBILITY

Aspire Real Estate Academy will go to lengths to ensure that students can attend class regardless of any disability. Reasonable accommodations will be made for any student requesting or needing them.

PARTICIPATION and MATERIALS

Each class is provided a book or classroom materials necessary for each course offered by the school. Students are encouraged to bring note taking materials as well as a calculator for Pre-license courses. 

Laptops and tablets are allowed as long as they are not a distraction to the student or others in class. Any student found to be using a laptop or tablet for purposes other than classroom purposes during class will be asked to discontinue their use of the laptop or tablet. Students are expected to participate and be engaged in the education and learning process. Students may not engage in Real Estate activities, casual social media browsing or other related activities not directly related to the class. Cell phone use of any kind not pertaining to class must wait until breaks.
